As part of EdNET's 20th Anniversary
celebration we're pleased to launch a new component of the program - EdNET
Foresight. As we examine how the industry has evolved over the past 20 years, EdNET
Foresight will enrich the dialog at EdNET with the presentation of
five commentaries by EdNET attendees on where K-12 schools and the
marketplace should or could be in five years and how we can get there. With its
presentations distributed across the conference agenda, EdNET Foresight
aims to tap the wisdom of the EdNET community in yet another way that
adds value to the conference experience.
2008 EdNET Foresight Winners:
- Larry Berger, CEO, Wireless Generation
- Ken Kay, CEO and Co-founder e-Luminate Group and President, Partnership for 21st Century Skills
- Kevin Pawsey, Managing Director, RM Educational Software
- Douglas Stein, Principal, MemeSpark LLC
- William Zaggle, President, Excelsior Software
Call for Commentators
The call for commentators is now closed.
Each of the chosen five commentators
will make a 5-minute presentation sharing their vision of the opportunities and
critical hurdles to moving education and the K-12 market radically
forward.
Proposals will be judged by an independent panel of
industry and education experts, on the basis of scope, potential value to
schools and our industry, and freedom from promotional content for specific
organizations or products.
The goal of the commentaries is to highlight insightful
visions of critical trends, innovations, market drivers, tactics and strategies
that can significantly advance student achievement, teaching and school
administration, and that enrich K-12 industry viability.
